Weeton Camp Stages 2004

The first event in the newly acquired Suzuki Swift was the Weeton Camp Stages on the 20th June. we started at number 75 and after two stages we were up to 24th overall, mixing it with 1600 Escort's and a couple of 2 litre Astra's.

On stage three, we picked up a puncture and took a stage maximum, costing us about four minutes and dropping us to last position. By the end we had fought back up to 32nd overall, not a bad effort for the first time out, I must say that Chris was superb, he was completely on the pace from the start and looked liked he'd been driving the car forever. But the four minutes we lost, we would have been about 17th, and would have picked up a class position, never mind, at least we have proved the potential of the car (and driver!!)
