Rover Metro

Chris's first rally car was a 1990 Rover Metro 1.4. This car was used to compete in 7 rallies, only finishing on two occasions, one of which was the Tour of Mull. It's final event was the D'Isis Stages in April 2004, when an accident caused major damage to the shell resulting in the car being declared a write-off.

Recently skimmed head - 265psi compression on each cylinder, New stretch bolts

Latest plastic manifold, Alloy throttle body, K & N filter, Standard casing with custom ram air scoop
Gearbox
Complete rebuild with brass selectors, new diff shells etc.  Solid mounted gearbox mount
Suspension 
4 Independent Hydragas units with the front supplemented  with AVO adjustable shock absorbers
Rear MG Turbo Anti-roll bar
